Now that we are home the jack works normally. How do you fix some thing that ain't broke?
I will clean the gland nut and seal and see what happens in the future.
Removing the jack involves 2 big Springs that I don't know how to deal with yet.
In the case of Leveling jacks.. Well. Two things
But how do you fix something that ain't broke
LUBRICATE.. as per manual instructions LUBRICATE.
Now one time I had jacks freeze to the ground. that was fun. But I broke 'em loose
Next time I put wood blocks between jack and ground. Jack came off the block easily but block was froze solid to the ground..
Pulled off Walked back and gave the block a gentle tap with my 8 pound sledge and it broke free nicely.
