Insulating front overhead in Class A

Every class A I have owned-all gas- have not had insulation behind the top front cabinets. In summer with sun it gets very hot in the cabinets and most had electrical devices such as satellite controller, switches and receivers. On one coach I placed regular blanket insulation in the area and it helped. The running lights and wires are in the area of course so foam does not seem to be a good idea. Any advice or experience?
  • I stuffed the area full of fiberglass insulation on our last coach(our current motorhome came insulated) it helped a lot( verified celing temps with infared thermometer)They do have finerglass batting wraped in plastic at home Depot.
