The story is that the owner had his engineer/designer take his 450SL west on Autumn road to the first campground on the north fork of the Autumn. When he got back, he instructed the engineer that he wanted the Mhs to ride and handle just like the 450SL. That is how the chassis, suspension, and brake system was developed. Having talked to a few owners of this MH, they are very happy with both the ride/handling and the house living area. Everyone were keeping theirs and not looking to get another MH. They do not stay at RV dealers very long.
