- PhilR_ExplorerWe have a Winnie View that is 24.5' long. We take it anywhere. Fuel economy is so good that we often take it on day trips, and sometimes we just take it when we go out to dinner. Since we can take it anywhere, we do not tow an extra automobile (do on occasion tow a motorcycle, for the fun of it). We drive it to wherever it is that we want to be, and at some point in the day, we drive to a state park and camp. the next day, we are on to our next destination. If we plan on being at a park for a few extra days, we just stock up on whatever it is that we will need, and therefore have no need for a toad to take us somewhere else.
We have not ever found it difficult to find a parking spot. With the exception of overall height, we just don't ever concern ourselves about potential difficulty in finding a place to park. I don't ever worry about parking lots that are too small to maneuver in. - wearenhExplorerWe shopped for the smallest C and ended up with a 2007 Gulf Stream 6211 (21')
Here are some pics (not ours, but the same)
and here's a video of someone's (with goofy music) showing the interior
youtube 6211 - skipncharExplorerProbably will depend on what size you are comfortable living in and still being able to run to the grocery store or out to eat with assurances of finding a parking place. :) It's a trade off and you're the only one who knows your preferences.

We downsized from a 38 Monaco to a 25" Winnabago Via (class A but same chassis as class C Navion), had the CRV set up to tow but hardly ever bother. The Via parks easily in maybe a space and a half at Walmart!
That is us also, except we have a 2013 View 14g... Sold our 38 footer is 2 days on Craigslist... - John___AngelaExplorerThis type of Hybrid B/C is pretty common out there. We have driven this one all over Mexico without a toad.
And its light enough to use as a toad for your next motorhome. :) For at least three years we used it as our toad behind our Revolution. There is some extenuating circumstances that precipitated this but it worked. We have to haul it down south again next year but are leaving it there.
I think BornFree makes something like it yet. - GizmosMomExplorerGo to RV Trader. com (for starters) and do a search for Class C models. You can check by name, size, etc.
I would check out that Leisure Travel Van, too. - nadsabExplorerWe have had a Four Winds Five Thousand for the past several years. It is 23.5 feet bumper to bumper and we love it. Very easy to negotiate the tight turns yet you don't have to be in a cramped B plus.
- Community AlumniFour Winds offers small Cs with slideouts. I believe Fleetwood also makes small Cs.

I knew some people who sold their car and used their Class C as a daily driver. It was about a 24' unit.
It worked for them.
