I wouldn't have a 4x4 motorhome if I listened to everyone else's advice (it'll never drive on sand; it'll frame up, etc). As for the rear spacers, solid aluminum and never an issue. They make them for a reason.....and driving on the sand with low air pressure ensures that the tires don't rub the sidewalls! One sharp shell between two rubbing tires is a flat on a sandy beach (not good!). My rig is 28' and appears the same as yours, Gary. As stated, the best enjoyment for me is the days/nights on a beautiful beach providing a comfort zone when the winds pick up or rain starts down.
