Itasca Spectrum (1982)

I get terrible mpg. 9 mpg. Others I meet say they get 12 to14.
A. I am a terrible driver
B. something is wrong
C they are fibbing :)
I love it but it is indeed thirsty

    Chev. 350.
    It is a big van on steroids. 3 spd tranny. I really like it, works well for us.

    What engine, GM or Ford? Unless your driving a Diesel 9 MPG sounds pretty good, unless you drive down hill all the time, which I suspect your friends are doing!
