The Jack antenna greatly improved reception when I am at my stick house. I am in a fringe area south of Buffalo, NY in the hills and can receive stations that I could not receive with my old batwing antenna. Check the following web site and input your info and see what the map says you should be able to receive. http://www.homeantenna.org/digital-antenna-reception-map.html. You might be able to only pull out 12 stations when using a big "deep fringe" antenna at your location.
