No, it is not obsolete. DISH changed the way they send programming and it "can" have an effect on how a dome locates the DTV satellites but even some of the domes are still working just fine on Dish. It seems to be a hit or miss kind of thing but most domes still work just fine with DTV.

They have reformatted the satellites. Your Kingdom is obsolete. I know I just went through this last summer with mine, 2007. Bought a ref one from them for 360 bucks, 2 year warranty. Nothing to it to install. You may from time to time be able to lock on to a signal but it may take hours. Go on King's site or better yet call them, they were very helpful.

Mine was a 2013 and just quit working. It simply would not re-program after spending hours with tech support. Fortunately it was light weight so I could throw it far enough off the roof to reach the yard.

That sounds like my vintage of King dome. I know when ever I have alignment issues, I have go thru the whole alignment procedure which you can find on line. Good luck....

Be sure you have the receiver set to some other channels than the Networks. Food Network or CNN but not ABC, CBS, etc.
If you just took this receiver out or your home and moved it to your RV this could be an issue as well. Let us know.

sounds like it needs to be reprogramed as its out of phase I threw mine away because I wanted HD TV

There's not too much trouble shooting to be done on that dome, so I'm not sure what you've done. That said:

1. Turn off unit. Wait at least 20 seconds then turn back on.
2. Push switch and listen for the dish to start spinning.
3. Turn on TV and log in to Direct with satellite setup.
4. Press MENU, SETUP,SATELLITE, SATELLITE SIGNAL STRENGTH.
5. Listen for the dish to try locking onto a satellite.
6. Once the dish locks onto a sat. if it's not the correct one, press the switch again for less than two seconds and release. Dish will move on to the next sat. and lock. If still not correct, repeat until it locks into 110. BOL...Dennis
