Koni shocks

I'm trying to refine my 1 year old MH handling. It's alignment has been checked, tires adjusted for weight, ride height adjusted. Most of the wandering is gone, the only significant is the constant left wheel correction. This I've come to terms is the crown in the road. So somewhere down the road a Blue Ox TruCenter is probably in the picture.

The rig came with Sachs shocks. They seem really sloppy with dipping when braking and body sway side to side. I'm considering Koni shocks per recommendations of the Cummins dealer by us. Anyone have experience switching to these?
  • I installed the KONI FSD shocks on my new MH after 10,000 miles. The original shocks were Monroe's. Should have done it sooner...
  • I like FSD's as well. For the "constant left wheel correction, I would have caster checked.

Right caster should be equal to right PLUS about .75 degrees. This will help compensate for road crown.

Assume you have checked for the common things:
    brake drag
swapped front tires left to right
  • I put them on my coach and the FSD shocks are great. Much better then the Bilsteins I had on there to begin with.
