I did a search on google search and they have one of these RV BUNK BED LADDERs
It doesn't fold up however. These have the bent angles on top to keep in place...
more shown on google search- might give you good idea on what to look for...

that telescoping model was exactly what I want. Found it on the Sears site for $99! Just a matter of knowing what it was called to look it up!
