If you didn't get the picture I posted they are plastic lightweight ramps. Which I now find much easier than leveler blocks and use them all the time.

As far as how much leveling we really need to do. Back in the mid 70's we got a 25 foot Airstream and were traveling with the WBCCI. We had trailers for years but smaller and easy to level. I talked to a lot of guys we were traveling with and they all said there were three rules.. You need to be comfortable inside. A coke or beer can should not fall off the table. And always be sure the head of you bed is higher than the foot. For traveling we go by those rules aand spend little time leveling. Our rig sets 2 inches low in the front and the head of our beds is to the rear. When staying in a site long term we do spend time getting it better. Also in the last 30+ years we have not had any problems with the fridge except if you open the door ans some thing falls out...

As the OP said 5 inches is alot. But perhaps you may be comfortable with less.. But do need to carry things so you can get it better.. And there are some sites you just need to pass on.. Like one we came across last fall in Lost Lake State Park in Oregon.. I would have needed 18 inches to get into the ball park.

I have only boards. I once had a site that was level side to side, but the front was very low, 6-8". I was able to make ramps with the boards that worked fine.

To solve the OPs problem I think a shovel would be the best answer.

I have the HWH semi-automatic levelers on my "C". Once you turn them on, a key pad in the cockpit shows which button to push. They move in pairs so the frame doesn't twist. left side, right side, front or back. When the first light goes out, another goes on. Push it in until the light goes out. Keep going until all the lights are out and you're level. I don't remember what I paid for them, but they are worth every penny.

I carry the three boards and enough blocks to get up about 6 inches.

I picked up a set of these last year when I needed extra height in the front. That freed up my blocks to do the duals on one side.

They are made out of plastic by our fav Rhino and are insanely lightweight! And they don't sink after a while like the blocks do.

Yup the site was that uneven but it was an invitation to visit some friends I hadn't seen in a long time AND they even had a shore power installed for my stay. I accepted the offer graciously and started looking for better leveling ideas for my stay there! :B

NOTE: you HAVE to make sure you buy the ones rated for MH's. They sell identical ones that are only rated for 6,000lbs.

I have the blocks and they work. it is just hard when, lets say, the front driver's side needs to come up 3 blocks and the front passenger side has to come up 2 blocks. then, of course, you have the dually's to deal with on one side. I made a 2x8" ramp for my 5th wheel and that worked great. however, with a B+ or C, I would need 3 boards:2 for the duallys, and potentially one for one of the front tires. Plus I would need blocks. that is a lot of stuff and weight to be caring around.

I would only suggest that you don't buy the open waffle type buy the solid yellow ones. I have gone thru 4 sets of the Lynx Levelers. They break up especially if using them on soft ground like the sand in Florida.

I have since then invested in Ramps and they seem to be a bit easier and working well in the sand.

I'm curious. How many blocks would it take to solve the OP's problem, 5" in front and 3" one side?

When using Lynx blocks the answer is - way more than you would ever want to carry along. For the front wheels, one has to go up 5 inches, the other 8 inches and the rear wheel on the low side 3 inches. If it's duals in the rear, then both rear wheels need 3 inches of blocks.

Lynx says not to stack the blocks over 5 inches high so another method of leveling is needed for this site.

For those experienced with powered leveling systems, wouldn't at least one front wheel be lifted off the ground at this site? Perhaps both?
