Love the bell idea, but it would probably drive me nuts trying to figure out where the ringing sound was coming from.
I would have needed two on this trip. After arriving and putting out the driver slide there was a deposit on the floor of two flat washers. So immediately I'm wondering where they came from??? When we purchased this MH two years ago I found two just sitting on the floor as well ( I saved them as I'd probably figure it out later).
So later in the evening I got the flashlight and started looking under the carpet of the slideout where the rollers were, hoping the problem wasn't those. They looked fine. Then I see the problem. We have a pull out section of the couch to extend the sitting area. On that there are two rollers. One was just laying underneath. That would explain why it was harder to get out. So that where the two washers came from and the other two from two years ago. All together 15 minute repair for that.
As far as the steps, they were acting up last winter with the stalling half in and out. I'm going to get some use out of my extended warranty this time and demand a new motor. These steps have always been lubed and taken care of.
