The chassis will be fine so long as it was maintained, it is all the small stuff that will have to be looked after (refrigerators, heat, A/C, generators etc.
I, too, bought an older Class A and did much of the
maintenance/upgrade work myself.
However, this "small stuff" can get very pricey, and it sure adds up.
While the engine and chassis may hold up for a long time, there are plenty of other things that may need fixing -- and the older you get, the more of a chance that you'll have to pay to have it done.
