Well I will tell you why I bought a 14 year old coach from a dealer because in writing I got a guarantee that everything on the house portion of the coach would be checked and made sure to be in good working order, 6 new tires, two new TV's, and a 30 warranty. Try and get that from an individual.
Same here, both our coaches were bought from the same dealer. They use a mulitpage check list that checks every system thoroughly and fixes anything no working properly. Than you do the walk through and anything you find get fixes. Last, we would spend 3-4 days living in it on their lot which gave us an opportunity to evaluate everything.
Granted you may pay more from a dealer but spend less.
This dealer assumes the PDI will cost them ~$10,000 and build that into the trade or consignment value.
