Looking for LTV Free Spirit Owners near Louisville, KY

The ride is significantly better, IMO, with the newer NCV3 over the T1N. As for maneuverability the newer Free Spirit is 11" longer than the older and about 1-1/2" wider. Inches matter but only in parking situations from my experience. The older had an advantage in various parking situations.

No. I meant when you are standing outside of one it has a more massive feel.

Obviously I have never driven one since ours is the older Sprinter model. But I know several B owners that have moved up from the older model to the newer model Sprinter and have never heard them indicate the newer Sprinter is any harder to maneuver. The Sprinter in general is a well engineered vehicle from my experience.

We bought our LTV from Van City in 2005. They are a great dealership to deal with. And they carry a variety of brands.

Sprinter chassis Class Bs for 2008 and after are on the newer model Sprinter that are a few inches wider and optionally come in a longer length. The other difference in the 2008+ conversions is that they are all on the 3500 model Sprinter with dual wheels in the back instead of the 2500 model with only 4 tires on the ground and in general have a more massive feel then the older model Sprinters.

Van City has a 2011, and I'll be near there at Xmas. Does anyone know if the older one's are smaller? I'd really prefer not to get the longer model. Seems like every one I see online give a little different length

Have you tried Van City? They have an excellent reputation and are less than 4 hours West of you.

...in a way, this may be a look into the LTV support system.


unless you are handy, you'll need to know where to get serviced- dealers nearby?

any tech can work on anything, but if they aren't knowledgeable about your unit, you'll be paying them while they look through manuals, online resources...or the results of the "guesses" made.

Are you in the owner's club? If so, is there a way for you to look at the membership and see if there are any Free Spirit owners anywhere near Louisville?
