The best shower ever. Again, worth every penny. Nice Christmas gift too!

We bought one a few weeks ago, but haven't had the chance to install it. We've heard so much about it!! Can't wait to try it!! - Cathy_JohansenExplorerSpa by Oxygenics -- we purchased one about a year ago.

Cathy - LobstahExplorerNice tip...I'll be putting that on my list of improvements.
I'm going to be gluing my weatherstripping back in place either tomorrow or Thurs. It rolled so badly that the screen door was very difficult to open as it would be jammed by the weatherstripping. I'm going to use contact cement to pull it back out where it should be.
I also noticed that I can see daylight coming underneath my door. It seals everywhere else, but across the bottom there is a gap of at least 3/8", maybe 1/2". Not a big deal in the summer, but it sure lets a lot of cold air in this time of year.
Jim - Rich___Cheri_ExplorerUntil now I've always been dissatisfied with the water pressure in the shower. Just installed a great hand-held shower head. It does some kind of magic to increase the pressure of the water out of the shower head. I used it with the water supplied by the onboard pump and it was the best shower I've ever taken in the RV. It's called a shower spa by Oxygenics. Costs about $40 to $60 depending on the finish, (white, chrome, or brushed nickel). Worth every penny.
- LobstahExplorerI just drained my fresh tank into a 29gal plastic bin which is in my belly box just to the left of my entry door. I disconnected the inlet from my fresh tank to the pump. I took a garden hose "Y" splitter, and plumbed the single end into the water pump. I then took the right side of the "Y" and plumbed that to a 4' peice of 5/8" hose that goes to the bottom of the plastic bin. I poured 6 gals of antifreeze in there and winterized all of my water lines by starting with the shower.
Now everything is winterized, AND...we can continue to flush, as we're camping for the entire winter. Nice to be able to use the our own bathroom when we really need to, like when you wake up at 2am and really have to go :)
I'm going to use a second bin on the other end of the "Y" and partially fill it with fresh water, so we can feed the water heater if we're going to be there for a longer period of time, so we can wash dishes. Then just hit the bypass and take the plug out to drain it when we leave.
Jim - bricotExplorerDoes blowing out your lines via the city water connection clear your pump? Guessing probably not...
- Papa_MelExplorerRegarding the water heater in my 2004 Pace Arrow:
Thanks Paul for the info on the trap door. I removed the plastic cover and found a rats nest of wires. Fortunately, there were only two wires to the heating element. I replaced the element and all is good again.
Thanks again,
Papa Mel - rag-ftwExplorerHad my brake recall completed last Friday. If anyone is in the DFW area I would recommend Lynn Smith Chevrolet in Burleson. They have been completing an average of 5 per day since parts became available. No charge for parts or new brake fluid.
They are a Workhorse Service Center and have the room to handle 12 - 15 large motorhomes. I did set an appointment and a tech was waiting on me when I arrived. Completed the entie job in just under 4 hrs.
Talk to Esther in the WH Service Center. - Paul_TurpinExplorerIf you have a breeze that comes from under the dash like I had and could never find where it was coming from, I found mine. I was doing some rewiring up front and I took off the inside plastic cover that goes up the inside driverside of the winshield where most of your inside wiring goes up to the overhead. AS I was working, I looked down and seen the ground through a 2 inch opening that runs down the side of the M/H and dash. Not only air coming in it looks like a good way for a mouse to get in.

Had ours done in OKC Workhorse dealer on Friday. Got 4 miles from the workhorse dealer and we lost the brakes and then the transmission. We safely got to the side of I44 (don't know how) in OKC and policeman screaming get out of the motorhome for it was on fire. We had no problems before the recall now we have no motorhome. Fire inspector said fire started at the brakes. So please be careful with the recall.

Thank goodness you got out of the coach and nobody was hurt.
I see a new motorhome in your future...paid for by your good friends at that service center. Will probably be somewhat of a legal battle, but one I'd gladly engage in if it were me.
