- LobstahExplorerYes...I agree, that sounds pretty excessive. Make sure to tell them you want the bad parts back. That tends to let repair folks know that you're keeping track.
Curious about what part on the gas part of the water heater costs $225. The $110 for labor is probably just their standard hourly rate, but still sounds high.
Jim - seatecExplorerGetting the feeling I'm being nickeled and dimed to death. They found a leak in the propane system. Apparently the valve at the water heater is broken. Cost me $110 to diagnose. The part is $225 and another $110 to install. All that for a little valve. They also said that above 45mph there is a vibration in the coach? Vibration?? I never felt a vibration and I have driven hat thing up to 70mph. I sure hope they didn't break something while doing the road test.

I believe you guys over this guy. He said absolutely not on this model. Oh well. Anyway. I checked all the fuses and cant find a bad one. SO now what? Try calling around until I find a service tech that acknowledges that the converter actually charges the chassis battery?
I would believe the manufacturer before anyone here on the forum, or the guys at a dealer (no offense to anyone here).
Take your BCCs model number and find the operators manual on-line. That should tell you if it charges the chassis battery while on shore power or not.
With manufacturers struggling to stay afloat the last several years, it wouldn't surprise me if they had Intellitek drop that circuitry to save money. There are 10's of thousands of RV's without it already. That's why there's the Trik-L-Start, or, many people (like myself) just install a $20 float charger. - seatecExplorerI believe you guys over this guy. He said absolutely not on this model. Oh well. SO my new roof is on the Moho. Was taling to the Service tech and mentioned how my engine battery wasn't charging when connected to the shore power and he said that that battery never charges while connected to shore power. He said the only way that battery is charged is via the altenator. is that true?
No...that's completely false. The Battery Control Center (BCC) controls what batteries get charged when. So when the BCC senses 12VDC current from the converter, it first energizes the relays to charge your house batteries. A few seconds later, it will energize the relays to allow charging of the chassis battery as well. Easily seen by watching the voltage display for the two battery banks on the Intellitec panel. Their labeled "Main" and "Aux". If both of those read over 12.5VDC then they are both being charged.
You may want to check the fuses in the BCC. I had this same issue once, and had a blown fuse, forget which one.

- dougsee3ExplorerNo it does it without shore power and with. I still have not found any ground strips. It is to cold out to work on every day but I have taken a lot of panels off and not found anything yet.
It is hard to pinpoint as well as now most of the time the lights work properly but I am going to have to keep trying to solve, find some grounds or make new ones.
I do not like the frame grounds for what is called in a wire diagram "wire harness routing info" they are called
177 crossover to roadside and crossover to doorside (177) these are not the problem I am having but I do not like the ground attachments being right in the rear wheel wells wear they are going to be geting wet all the time I will fix these this summer.Lobstah wrote:
Does this happen only on shore power? If you disconnect from shore power, are the lights stable? It does sound like a ground issue, assuming your lights are all 12v lights, at least the ones being impacted. My stick built house had a similar issue with some lights going dim and others getting brighter, and it was a floating neutral coming on on the main feed from the street.

HI new Pace Arrow owner here.
Read this whole topic it did take some time but well spent. It was rather depressing it seems I might be doing a lot more repairs than the modifications that I was looking forward to.
I have a 2008 33V (W22) not mentioned here but here is my Question.
Having what appears to be a bad ground problem with interior lights that do not work and make other light circuits glow. I do not see any other 33V's here but Fleetwood's should be similar. To cold up here to crawl around underneath yet. Are the circuits grounded at or near the fixtures or at a common lug point and where to look for them.
It could be a cold issue as it seems to fix itself after the furnace has warmed the unit up or may be I have jiggled enough wires or fuses.
Now I have have had the unit for a month not used it yet, but have been trying to get familiar with the systems on some of the warmer days. I am finding the wiring kind of a rats nest but all newer cars and trucks are as well.

So you might want to look for a restriction in your water system. Good luck.
Dave, you are not alone. My wifes cousin has been in one of these rigs for a few years now (bought used outside of Jasksonville) and they had the same problem. - R2DillonExplorerYou need to run another coax. There are two connectors on the dish.
- Paul_TurpinExplorerI was looking to get a DVR for my Pace, I have DirecTV and the Dish on top has only one cable going to the DirecTV box now that came with my Pace. DirecTV said that I need two cables coming to the DVR for it to work, ( watch one channel and record another at same time) I am not looking for HD just so I can use the DirecTV DVR. Has any of you been able to make this work without changing to a new dish with two cables coming in to the box?
