We feel you pain with all your PA problems. Sometimes I wonder if PA stands for Pain in the A** instead of Pace Arrow. We also have a problem with the rear jacks never wanting to retract all the way up. Now I spray the rear jacks with a silicone spray just before we retract them. It still takes a little while but they eventually do go all the way up with the assistance of the silicone spray. We've complained to the dealer about this but they can't find anything wrong.

- There are two zerk fittings on the rear jacks. I used the silicone for years. Once I found the fittings and loaded them with a grease gun, the jacks worked fine. - Fyr_guyExplorer

Thanx again for all the helpfull hints. i for instance wouldve never thought about winterizing the washer dryer.
Just out of curiosity. i live in Maryland so it can get under 30 and soemtimes 20 deg. would it be very costly to just keep the heat running and if so what would anyone reccomend to keep the thermostat at? i am pretty sure the coach has heated underside eg holding tanks or is this just a stupid idea to begin with? I would like to keep using the MoHo throught the winter.

Here in the Southwestern desert it gets into the teens occasionally and below freezing many times during our winter and I've been turning on the coach heater in the front only and set at it's lowest setting 55 degrees I think. We use our MH all year long so we need to have it ready to go when we are. It's worked for us for 2 years now and the cost of propane was worth the availability of the MH. - Meme_RayExplorer

I did meet someone who had an older Pace Arrow ('94 I believe) and did just that. He left the gas furnace on all winter at 50 degrees and says he has done that for years with no problems. Not sure what the cost was for him but he was always happy with that solution since he used his MOHO once or twice during the winter months also. He lives in the Cincinnati area and it can get pretty cold here. I believe you are correct in thinking that the holding tank areas are heated. But to be on the safe side I would make sure your black water tank stays very clean and empty. I understand getting rid of formerly frozen solid waste is next to impossible and not anything an RV service department will want to do at any price.

Meme&Ray, did you by your Pace instate, if so where, and do you get good service ? Where we got our's, I think owner is sincere in trying to help but service dept. is terrible, ever experience with them is bad !!!! Got our's in Lexington.
We bought ours from Holman Motors in Batavia, Ohio. It is just a little east of Cincinnati on Route 32 and easily accessable from I275. We have had a few problems with the service department but by and large they are very good. I can comfortably recommend them. We actually bought from them because of the service department. I believe that they have added some RV sites on their property so that people needing to stay overnight for service can do so on site.
They are a fairly large RV dealer with an extensive parts department and also sell GM products.
Here is their toll free # 800-323-8677.
Are you by any chance related to my cousin Winnie?

Dcberewer thanks for input ill try to follow what you've written and hope I wont forget anything. anybody else have some more input?
Don't forget about winterizing the washer/dryer if you have one. We blow air through all our lines and also use antifreeze when we winterize. We run the washer/dryer through a shortened rinse/spin cycle to make sure the antifreeze gets in the lines and into the washer drum. I leave the washer door open overnight so any dampness can evaporate before closing the door for the winter.
Our dealer has a winterization class every fall for new MOHO owners. It was very helpful. Maybe your dealer has one as well.

- dcbrewerExplorerOn our 06 Pace Arrow, used antifreeze last year, going to use air to blow lines out this year. this is the way I done 5th wheel and TT without a problem. You still need to pull all plugs and let all run out that will and drain water heater and leave plug out, pressurize system so line going to hot water heater will empty into heater and drain out than close by-pass valve, with air on go to ever spigot starting at closet and open one at a time until only air comes out. Make sure you take ice maker lines loose to drain lines and valve behind frig. To be on safe side, I take icemaker Home. Won't do any of this next year, will be in heated garage.

Hello fellow Pace arrow owners. I have searched but not yet found a write up about winterizing a late model Pace Arrow for people like me who are afraid they are going to forget something and have a damaged MH come next season.
Can anybody do a small write up on how to go about it on a late model Pace Arrow?
thanks
I saw the air compressor fitting that screws into your city water hookup. I wonder if that would also clear the residual water out of your water heater .... sure would be easier and less fuss then pulling plugs and dealing with antifreeze.
