low operating temperatures

My bride of 37 years and I just bought a barely used (2700 miles) Winnebago View 24J. I drew a deer tag in CO for November and would like to take the new rig. Temperatures are supposed to be in the teens. The only thing I can find in any of the gob of manuals is that the View has a heated drainage system. Any thoughts anyone?
  • No problem. Make sure you have plenty of propane for the furnace. Make sure you have at least electric where you are camped because the tank heaters are real battery killers. Make sure you have at least SOME water in the waste tanks before turning on the tank heaters.

We boondocked in Yellowstone for 2 weeks in September 2011. While it didn't get down into the teens, it did get down into the twenties at night. you will do fine.
