RE: shuddering. Mine is not shuddering, my friends similar trans was and the additive helped stop it. Apparently the friction material in lockup converters can need help as it ages.
RE: recommended fluid change. My Ford manual says change at 60k (30k for ones with external filter) so I'll soon remove the pan, change the filter and install fresh Mercon SP.
As I mentioned, I am almost always against using additive but in some cases it makes sense. For example if you have an older flat tappet motor, I'd strongly recommend a ZDDP additive or oil that states a high level of ZDDP.
I was simply asking if anyone had experience with Lubegard Platinum
