Manual override for slideout.

On my2006 Coachmen Aurora ( 36' )I recently could not retract the living room slide.Over the driver's side rear wheel well is a sticker that says the manual override is located in that wheel well.
I could not find it. I finally got the room in with the help of two other people. We were able to push it in.
I asked my dealer where it was and the tech who looked for it couldn't find it either. Does anyone know where it is?
  • On my 2006 Coachmen Aurora I have a switch just to the left of the living room slide switch that is marked for manual over ride. If you push it on the top it is for the kitchen, pushing the override switch on the bottom is for the Living room.(I could have the override Kitchen and Living room backwards) My slides are electric. I have a switch to the far right that control the bedroom slide with the manual override just to the left of the bed switch. Hope this helps you

Added information In my wheel wells are the manual crank shafts. Someone need to hold the switch then ratchet the slide in.
  • On my Newmar the manual override is to loosen a bolt and either push it in or use a ratchet. Pushing it in is a lot faster than the ratchet was. It the motor is bad or no voltage, I would think that you would have to push it in or some other manual system.

Some one show ring in with your model.
