- Taz_23ExplorerThe two smaller slides on the street side ( bedroom and kitchen slide ) are cable operated and as someone else said are moved with a flex fitting and a drill. The fitting should have come with the camper. The larger (deep slide ) is accessed under the camper. If you look at the coroplast covering under the camper, there will be a square (appox. size 14"x14") cut out held in place by 4 lag screws. The manual override is located there. A small drill with a socket will work, but I found its easier due to limited space to use a ratchet wrench.
- mileshuffExplorerI'm in the same situation with my 2014 Winnebago. Main living slide and bedroom slide are quite a bit different. Bed slide I believe is Schwintek as there are no rails underneath. Main slide has two large rails under. No place for crank on either. Manual has info on numerous slide mechanisms that Winnebago slides so its confusing trying to figure out which one I have so I can see the OP's confusion. Dealer I purchased from is 6 hours away. I plan on talking to local service center who should be able to provide some help.
- jffnkrnExplorerSome of the new Keystone products have slides that are cable operated. If this is the case, get a ladder or look on top of the slide on the inside of the coach. There should be a flexible adapter to hook up to your drill, yep should have a drill with you and hook it up and then can do slide manually. If it is not cable operated, there should be a point to put a crank, like the ones for your jacks and turn the mechanism. But yes, get with your manufacture. Good Luck & Be Safe ! ! !
- SHExplorerCam you drive it back to the dealer and have them show the things they should have in the first place? Not trying to be a smart a$$ just seems odd that they would not go through that stuff at delivery!
- beachbum5ExplorerThe slides are electric. the manuals are generic for many keystone models.
- BB_TXNomadAre they hydraulic slides? Mine (3 slides) are and in the front compartment near the pump is a block with 3 knobs on it. Each knob can be rotated to close the fluid path to one of the slides and prevent that slide from moving.
Or do you mean manually move the slide(s)? - laknoxNomad

I just got cougar 28sgs 2015, the dealer never told me how to manual over ride the side. Any body have information thanks
You should have a manual for the slide mechanism and that info should be in there.
