I run the new M/S2s at 75 rear and 70 front. I don't like running anything at max pressure as that does not leave any room left for heat expansion. My rig is not real heavy (26'8" w/no slides) so that should be plenty. Handles fine at highway speeds up to 65/70.
New spare (not under the recall) came in yesterday so now I have the new M/S2s all the way around. Checked the date code and it's only three weeks old.
Maximum COLD inflation pressure already takes heat expansion into account.
Still closer than it needs to be if you are not running at maximum weight. Hard tires roll easier but too hard and you are not getting the benefit of all the traction you could. - NWnativeExplorer

Just as a heads up with respect to using higher allowed pressures than the charts show is actually needed for your RV's average weight loading ... remember that the higher the pressure the less detrimental affects from tire sidewall heating you get (due to less tire flexing) and the slightly better gas mileage you get from reduced rolling friction.
We have a small Class C (24 ft.) on the heavier duty E450 chassis that is loaded ready to go at only around 12,000 lbs.. The door sticker says 80 PSI rear and 65 PSI front, and that's what we use even though our 12,000 lb. weight is way less than the chassis's maximum of 14,050 lbs..
Our ride is actually a bit softer, over the old M&S tires, using the full 80 PSI pressure in the rear tires -> probably due to the new materials Michelin is using in the sidewall plies. The steering is precise and solid too ... using 65 PSI in the front tires.
We've had the M&S2 on our Class C since sometime in 2011 or 2012. What I'm REALLY hoping to get from the M&S2's new sidewall ply formulation is less sidewall cracking than what was occuring with the old M&S tire materials. - Harvey51Explorer
I assume that the Ford sticker on the inside of the door frame is what you are referring to. The Born Free factory told me that the 60 psi is for the chassis...not in consideration of what's on top...like a MH! I was told to go 65-80 in the rear and best to go the 80 psi.
Thanks, Marshall, good to know. I asked at the tire shop, showed my weights for each wheel or dual and the Michelin chart indicating something like 50 psi and was told to go with the 65/60 on the Ford sticker. So I am sticking with the sticker. If memory is working, the total weight is 8000 pounds.
Costco called today. They have an estimated wait time of six weeks before they can order my new tires. I was offered a different brand but chose to wait for Michelin.
Our local hospital has a $100k E450 handicap van with wheelchair access. It has the recalled tires and is out of service for about three months waiting for replacement. Alberta Health Services won't take the risk of driving patients in it on recalled tires. I spoke to a guy whose job is warranty parts at a Ford dealership. He said he has seen some of the recalled tires blown to smithereens. He couldn't give me a number, though. I found an article online saying that no injuries from the tires have been reported. All in all, I still think there is very little additional risk driving these tires while being careful about checking pressures and appearance frequently. Signs to watch for are tread separation and sidewall cracking. - loulou57ExplorerWe just had all new MS2 put on our truck/Avalanche. They were not part of the recall, we just replaced older tires. They were ordered and 2 days later, installed. Why are you all having to wait so long?
- MarshaNicholsExplorerIt looks as though you folks on the east coast have faster service as it is taking an average of 6 weeks in CA...I just had all my tires replaced last week...and it did take Ford Truck 6 weeks to get them! They're awfully "pretty"!

I'm very pleased it applies to me! Two years of free tires already. Maybe I'll get three. Yep, 60 psi is what the Ford E350 sticker says and the Michelin chart is well below that. I went in to Costco in the city today. The guy I saw had no problem finding the recall and said it didn't matter that I lost my receipt because the record of the purchase is in the computer, including date codes for all 7 tires. Great tire store. I need four summer tires for the minivan and I never even asked the price because I know Costco has the best price and terrific service.

You don't need a receipt. If yours are in the date code range you get new ones free including mounting and balancing. All you need is the tire.
