Montana 3711FL kitchen outlets not working

We have a 2016 Montana front living room. We went to play golf and came home and the camper had no power in the kitchen area. Refigerator, microwave, w/d, and outlets. The only GFCI outlet I could find is in the bathroom and it was working fine. Does anyone know if or where another GFCI would be located? I am baffled because it seems as simple as pushing a button. Please help!
  • We have had it 4 months and are really enjoying it. We had an Alpine before and I can only say I miss having the extra space underneath. Other than the few minor tack this back up, tighten back up water line, etc it is great. Every camper will have that though.
  • Mduvall, how are you liking your 3711FL? We've had very few issues with ours after 25 days of use and we really like it.
  • I did not realize I was in the class A section. Thank you for the other helpful information though. After further investigation the 60A dbl pole breaker at the pole was only running 1 leg and not both. We replaced the breaker for $30 and everything is working great! Also, thank you for the info on the Montana forum. That will help in the future.
  • Umm...you might have better luck finding someone who has your rig in the FIVER forum instead of the Class A one...just sayin...:) .. Dennis
  • Did you also check your circuit breaker panel for a tripped breaker?

Check the outside GFCI outlet also. Possible they could have wired the kitchen to it.

Also try the Montana Owners Club forum. Lots of Montana expertise there. And I know there are some 3711FL owners there.

The code usually have GFCI outlets anywhere someone can come into contact with water.

My trailer has three installed Kitchen area -Bath Room area - wash up sink near bedroom area... The outside area is linked with the kitchen GFCI

Of course alot of GFCI controls other receptacles down the chain...

Look around for more GFCI. I think there should be more than one in a typical RV setup...

  • It is possible that if you have an inverter that ONE of the circuit breakers on the inverter itself tripped. This is not one of the breakers in your electrical pane
It could also be that you lost 1/2 of the power coming in from the shore power breaker. You might try resetting it.
