Contact a firm in that area. Requests the laws for the state you will domicile in. See if the law applies to you. Ex. in AZ, as long as our rig was not in our possession or out of state for 6 mths out of a calendar year (we kept fuel receipts) then we were ok with our rig being in an LLC.
It is all about knowing the Law for that specific state.
And while you are at it, look at the various business trucks in your area, especially with LLC at the end of the name. In AZ a business can keep it out of state License as long as it does not have a business or physical address in this state.
