The fastest and most useless way to burn fuel is to accelerate from a dead stop with a heavy right foot. :S What's your hurry? Try leaving that stop sign/light without exceeding 2,000 rpm. Let the the transmission do its job and enjoy the smooth application of the more than adequate power that comes with the V-10.
If fuel consumption is not an issue just stick your foot in it and go. That V-10 has plenty of power but to access it you need to let it wind out. Max torque is found around 3250 rpm and max HP near 4,400. You will not hurt it running up through these rpm but you will waste an inordinate amount of fuel. You can run a V-10 at 4,000+ all day long but why in the world would you need/want to? :h
