Had Progressive in the past. The rates kept rising(one windshield replaced) and last year I changed to Hartford. I made my first and only payment in April. In June our MH was struck by lightening. Sixty miles out of Cincinnati. Long story short, I was out my deductable and a few incidentals. Hartford contributed to the expense of renting a trailer to empty MH and return home, loss of use contribution, and another contribution for me to return to Cincinnati and move MH from Cincinnati to Decatur, In. for Fleetwood repairs. (MH had to be towed to Cincinnati for Ford to repair and get the engine running.) Total cost to Hartford was over 10k. Got my renewal this year. Increase negligible. I guess that's why they call it insurance.
