I have a 2006 Thor hurricane 33h. Sometimes it will just shut off while I am driving it and we have to turn the dummy switch by the door on and off about 10 times before it will get power and stay green so you can restart it.I put a new dummy switch in it and it does the same thing.Any ideas?

I also own a 06 Hurricane but a 31D model. Problem is the chassis battery disconnect solenoid in the Battery Control Center. It's located on the engine fire wall above the engine oil fill.To replace you'll need to disassemble the unit a bit since the solenoids are located behind the control board.Had mine fail in the driveway. Went to start the coach and nothing. No gauges, no clicks, no runs, hits or errors. Took about an hour. Don't recall exactly which one of the three is chassis disconnect.

We had a problem with an Intelitec control panel on a our 98 Intruder Ford F53 chassis. Found to be loose connection of main power cable, Coach Care of Ocala found it in spring of '05. Had a similar problem last fall on our Phaeton..bad lug crimp on main power cable by Freightliner at front bulkhead cable stud. Showed up after ten years.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!!! I fixed my motorhome thank you all! It was the coach solinoid.

No blue wire with a ring terminal on the circuit board for my coach. Any chance it could be for one of the solenoids? Does the wire leave the BCC?

I'll check my coach this evening after work but I would be really surprised if they match. Did you get the one cable that is bolted to the board? Was wondering if that might be the blue wire. You could also try powering everything up and start checking for what isn't working. Steps, dash radio LP detector and such.

Also give Thor a call today with your coach VIN in hand. They might have the wiring diagram for the BCC on file and can send it to you. I got a PDF copy of the 120VAC wiring they sent to a forum friend with the same coach as mine that Thor gave him.

As a temporary test just put both of the big cables on one side of the solenoid.this will bypass it and get you going until you are better able to find parts and work on the coach
