mouse droppings

While getting the MH ready to hit the road, I decided to take the bedroom ceiling light fixture down to clean it. How in the H... did those creatures get into the light and where did they come from. Found no signs of them any where else in the MH. Is it possible that what I thought were mice might actually be something else??

  • Yup spring traps and glue traps work but you need the rat sized ones for glue.
  • Last year we had mice for the first time in 27 years camping...luck ran out. Our solution was to place 4 old fashioned spring loaded mouse traps in outside storage compartments with peanut butter. Worked overnight. Two dead mice - have not had any since. BTW, there were droppings in bread drawer and broom closet also. They find their way around the motorhome. We also tried the newer "hockey puck" type traps, thay did not catch anything - but they are still in our compartments along with the four old fahioned traps. Good luck.
  • You know the foam used in the wall and ceiling laminates? They can make it like swiss cheese.
  • There are wiring tunnels all over the place in an RV and mice can easily use these to get most anywhere they want to go.
