- The_TexanExplorerWith our 400 ISL and 41' we get anywhere from 7½ to 9, depending on many factors, with speed being the main killer. I try and stay around 60± MPH and on most roads I can expect 8-8½. The 315 ISC will get about the same or a little better mileage.
- IvylogExplorer III10 at 45 mph, 8-9 at 55, and 7 at 65 in the East. Take 0.5 off in the western mountains.
- tpwelkerExplorerI forgot to mention its a 38 footer.
- tpwelkerExplorerHaha, heck that's better than my old 1978 class C with the 400 4 brl carb.

X2
Actual experience will depend on how you drive, the kind of roads you are on, and the weight of your coach. But, 8 to 10 is a reasonable estimate as mentioned above. - bluwtr49Explorer III think you will do a bit better with your older Diplomat that the 42' Dynasty...thinking closer to 8.5 at 65 in the West.
- IvylogExplorer IIII agree it could be a little better, but for a new member I'd rather have them happy with the mileage if they buy it and a lot depends on how you drive it and how much brake you use.
- JimM68Explorermotorhomes get about 50 cents to the mile. Gas or diesel it matters not. $2 a gallon or four, still fifty cents a mile...

:h - tomgagneExplorer8 mpg, approximately $4.00/gal. $.50 per mile. Just got back from a 1850 mile trip spent $875. 50 cents is a good number (as a quick gauge), I'm not sure if the rest of the logic works
