A Foretravel UniCoach will be my next motorhome when the cash pile gets high enough (I refuse to take on a loan no matter how bad I want it).
I agree with the advice to go over to the Foreforum. They are a knowledgeable bunch.
My take on why a Foretravel is a better choice: The frame is a monocoque design with 8-10 outboard airbags. It makes them ride and perform so much better than a coach that is plunked down on top of a frame. Foretravel doesn't have the glitz that the other higher-end coaches have. A Foretravel is only appreciated by people who have owned other brands. The fit and finish is superior and may be overlooked by a first-timer. Even then, it takes a while for most of their owners to appreciate it and realize what a good rig that they truly have.
This is in no way a slam to Newmar. My wife's uncle just bought one and loves it, but I can hardly wait to see the look on his face when I invite him to drive the 'older' Foretravel that I hope to purchase.
