- 93mastercraftExplorerI have never had this number of issues with anything else I have ever bought including houses, cars, boats even other RV's. This is why we buy brand new. I have seen people take to the news and youtube on other lemons. This is no different. I tried to get Thor to buy back this Palazzo a long time ago. They would not do that. We are way past that now. I am just dealing with what I got. BTW, My video is not the only video out there about poor QC on the Palazzo.
- et2ExplorerSoooo, you've finally decided to burn the bridge with them, or are you trying to strong arm Thor into a refund this time around? Many here told you to dump it the minute you received your "replacement" motor home from Thor.
After review of your video I honestly don't see anything different from any of the other manufactures. Our new Fleetwood has been in three time in less than a year for stupid stuff. It'll get worked out. The screw was a petty argument to those experienced in RV ownership. Our first TT purchase we were told, if your not good at fixing small stuff then this lifestyle isn't for you. For once that was a honest salesperson as it's played true in every other RV we've owned ever since.
If this bothers you then perhaps taking a loss and getting out of this lifestyle is the best thing you can do to calm yourself. I can't imagine trying to relax on my Vacation and worry about what's next. You've carried this anger for way too long. - WyoTravelerExplorerPrevious poster has a point. The video would be better showing all of the problems you are having. I believe you mentioned on another forum about problems with the slide etc. Like to see all of that shown. I was quite surprised when Thor actually got you shut down from the other web site. I just mentioned your problems and I was also warned that Thor advertises with that forum and they were the ones that got you shut down and my post was also removed. Shows how much pressure a company can put on the forums.
All we want as owners of RVs is to see problems and be able to avoid them since RVs are very expensive. - 2bzy2cExplorer IIWOW! First off, I have followed your journey with Thor for quite some time. So have a ton of people in these forums and I am certain others outside of this forum have also shared in your misery.
However, there are a few things I should point out.
1. The first few minutes of your video focuses on one screw. Yeah, it's sloppy, but you have not given enough history to really give your video any serious validation. People are going to watch your video and think
"Really, one screw?"
2. It looks like you are taking the interior of the RV apart. Not good. Chairs are moved, tools everywhere, cabinets opened. It looks like you are being a tinkerer and making things worse. (I know your history with Thor, but many don't). Nothing worse to a mechanic than to be asked to step into a handyman's work to try and make it right. I appears you are doing just that. If I were at Thor and saw that video, I doubt Thor would touch that RV ever. Who knows what you may have done.
I know you are angry, and you have every right to be, however, posting a damaging video like this is counter-productive for you. Frankly, without your adding more details to the video, I would almost call it slanderous.
If I were you, let cooler heads prevail and take down that video. You don't really need to be dragged into the courtroom. Your life would really take a turn for the worse.
I know what your intentions are, but honestly, you are going about it all wrong. You are presenting yourself as being overly "Nit Picky", in the video at least.
On edit- I noted that one of your other videos shows a young kid drop kicking a horn? I can only assume that horn was from the Palazzo? You didn't like the horn either?
I dunno, it sort of shows very little tolerance on your part, though, I doubt I would have showed as much restraint as you did through all of this. - mike_brezExplorer
