navigator

I have located a 2007 navigator 30,000. miles loaded 43 ft nice rig from pics i have i have not put my hands on it yet its a ways from me trying to decide if worth a 5 hr drive to see looking to see if anyone has idea what a good deal is on this rig price range ??
  • Mr. Greg, for 2007, the Navigator was the top of the line for the Holiday Rambler which is similiar to the Signature Series on the Monaco line.

Of course your value should be based on the tire dates as if they are original, they could have '05 or '06 date codes. If the motorhome has been sitting for a while, you will want to check everything including the maintenance records if any.

A friend of mine has his '07 Signature with about 57,000 miles for sale on consignment for $269,998 where he purchased it in California (just looked it up, originally asking $399,000 a yr. ago). His coach has been for sale for about a year now and no takers. When he had it on ebay for a short time, it was listed at $299,000 and he only recieved low ball offers. One of the problems is that he had some custom work done while it was being built. Instead of the usual leather sofa's, it has lime green fabric with purple pillows. That is a rather easy fix but the first impression is not too good. The captains chairs are black as is the dash with wood floors. It has new Michelin tires (from last yr.) and the 600 hp pre-particulate filter Cummins.

What are they asking for the Navigator?

    MM.
  • Greg,
I drove 800 round trip to find my dynasty and I am glad I did. It turned out to be the best decision I made while searching for a coach. Either way you will definitely learn something from the experience. I would make the trip after talking with the owner and seeing plenty of pics and copies of services performed. I found it very advantageous to buy from a private owner as I had a better feel for what the true history was on the coach and what needed to be done so there were no surprises. Worked out great for me.
  • Considering the potential cost of any coach you may or may not buy traveling for a hands on evaluation is worth the time, effort and cost. I did three 800 mile round trip drives when I was negociating the sale of the coach I have now. Drove it home on the third trip.
  • yes but i know the book seems a lot of times to be high for the market
trying to see where it might stand in the real buy market
  • Greg - Have you tried looking up the value of it in an on-line guide? Kelly Blue Book for vehicles, NADA Guide for RVs.
