- pusherpilotExplorerI sincerly hope this means the new line will look more like an RV than an OTR truck.
Ron - crassterExplorer IIYou never know, they could keep the same thing going! I for one thinks Fleetwood makes pretty good stuff and they have the reputation of their new aquisitions to keep up.

You are receiving this message because you opted in at http://monacointernationalrvclub.com/ - WyoTravelerExplorerWe'll see how it goes. Back in 1989 we had a Fleetwood Pace Arrow and had pretty good luck with warranty service. I know they are completely re-organized but Fleetwood seems to be back in business and doing well. Since they just bought the Navistarrv line while it is still building if they don't treat their customers well the Monaco and Holiday Rambler will fail. I'm sure they don't want that to happen.
This is the 21st century. The internet conveys info quickly. Manufacturers can get a bad name quickly. We like our New Monaco and so far with Navistarrv we like the great warranty service. If it changes you'll see my posts.
So far in my Monaco 33SFD there are only a couple of issues we are unhappy with. No storage under the bed. The TV in the bedroom is mounted in an upper cupboard door. The TV speakers are inside the cupboard. I just mounted two stereo speakers. We gave up some things because DW wanted a washer/dryer. Things we just found out we got were double pane windows as standard. - steveownbyExplorer

Had heard that NavistarRV was searching for a buyer. I am shocked that the parent company of Fleetwood would be interested. We'll see how it goes.
Iam not but what shocks me is where they got the money to buy the line.Fleetwood was for the most part bankrupt just a few short years ago and had to downsize and resturcture
In point of fact, Fleetwood did file bankruptcy and was bought and is currently owned by the same private equity group that has now bought Navisart RV ( AKA Monaco). Fleetwood did not purchase Monaco, the owners of Fleetwood did. - DanTheRVManExplorerGreat news for Monaco family of coaches. Sure hope the new company is not over leveraged as it could mean the death of all of them. This will be very good or very bad news eventually.
- mpfiremanExplorerA lot of those, what we think of as secure brands, are merging with bigger pockets, thus they will survive, but under different management. MANY trailer names are a small devision of larger corporate names. A few years back Sunnybrook RV became a devision to Winnebago industries. As Sunnybrook produced fewer than 1,000 units yearly, and Winnebago produced ZERO towable units yearly, it was a win win decision for both companies. But alas, that Sunnybrook name will probably vanish over the coming years.
