I just mounted a spare 32 Vizio in my guest bedroom. The Vizio weighs about 36 pounds. The bracket is rated up to 70 pounds.
I wouldn't use this bracket in my rv as it wouldn't be rated for any decent dip or bump in the road.
How much do you guys want to over engineer the weight rating to actual tv weight to accommodate any possible hard bumps.
A frost heave sneaked up on me in Alaska once that would have been a good test.
Once the arms are folded up against the backing board, I don't worry about it. Plenty of strength above the rating of the bracket as it's rating is for the full weight with the arm(s) extended.
Naturally, I wouldn't drive around with the TV extended. - mtrumpetExplorer

- JanLizExplorerHere are links to two photos of my recent project switching out the old TVs for new ones.
I used a Monster brand arm, and doubled up 3/4" cabinet plywood to form the back.
Hope the pics come through ok, this is the first time I posted pics.

Next is the bedroom TV. I picked up a 29" Samsung. Found out that the screens come in a couple different thicknesses, and the slim line worked great. - punomaticExplorer

- OhhWellExplorerThere have been a few recommendations of Good high quality extra sturdy mounts an a lot of get whatever is cheap. 13lbs is nothing. I myself would (and have) just get a cheapie. I always keep an eye out at Ross and get a decent one for about $20 or so. I've done 4 over the years and have yet to pick one up that was garbage.
Again, 13lbs is super light. Just make sure to use lock nuts and washers when installing. - I_rvExplorerjust for what i worth, first of all I'm cheap and refuse to pay for a mount that cost 1/2 as much as the tv or more,so I go to Ace hardware and get some aluminum flat stock, drill holes to attach to tv a little bending and mount it to a door I made so i gain a storage compartment where the monster tv was,the door opens and tv moves with it ,when shaping the bracket i have the top out further than the bottom for proper viewing angle,I've done this twice 1 in bedroom and 1 in front overhead, I have since moved the tv in front ,tired of looking up all the time, so that tv moved to rear wall of slide out, again aluminum bracket but this one clamps around edges of tv due to small window which is in center of tv,probably have driven 15000 miles and no problems.
