NO DON'T DO IT!!! You haven't given a lot of info, but this has scam written all over it. If you give the money to him and he doesn't pay the loan off, then you'll never get a title and the lien holder will come and take the motorhome from you. You need to work with his lien holder and only write a check to them. I do know there are companies out there who offer an escrow service, but I've never used one. Basically you give the money to them and they pay off the lien and hold the money until the title is properly received and turned over to you, then they pay any left over money to the seller.
