Who makes a coach with real woodwork, steers great, economical to service, and you won't spend two weeks a year in service, or first six months at dealer.
If you can't accept your new unit will spend some time at least initially at the dealer getting the kinks worked out, perhaps you might consider a gently used quality built unit where the original owner got the kinks worked out for you.
I read this all the time, but I can honestly say not one of our 3 Newmars has ever needed "all the regular new stuff".
Our entire repair list on all 3 combined has been;
Plastic fading on wheel cover opening on our '00 gasser
Display failed on the Sony radio on that one too.
The step well cover actuator on the '03 DP failed twice, I converted it to an air cylinder. Same set up on our '08 as the '03 was, it has been flawless.
The AC mixing valve also failed. Supplier had a bad batch, I changed it in my garage as it was faster to do it there than make the 4 mile drive to our dealer.
The '08 has had an electric jack failure (Atwood) and an AC went out. Both were covered under warranty. The display on the JVC radio is starting to fade, that might be replaced soon - if I get around to it.
Maybe we've just been lucky, maybe we've just had excellent dealer PDI from both of our selling dealers. Either way, we're happy.
Having said all that, I spent over 8 hours getting my S-I-L TT ready - it needed a lot. She bought it and was heading out the next day. The selling dealer didn't have time to PDI. They told her to take it and bring it back after her trip. It took me over 8 hours to make it trip worthy.
My parents Tiffin spent time in Red bay and a whole bunch of time in my garage bay, so I know it happens.
