New Palazzo 35.1 Day 1 Problems

There is a really bad water leak at the top of the drivers window. The water is leaking down onto the Allison transmission controls.

The other problem I have discovered is the left side view camera is on the fritz. I can tap the side of the mirror housing and that seems to do the trick. I hope it's just a loose connection. See pictures below.

Honestly, all I can do is laugh right now.









  • I stayed in the coach over night and could not find anything wrong. The Thor Service Center was great. The few problems I did found they addressed them very quickly. I drove the Palazzo 1000 miles home with not a single issue. It never rained during my 2 day drive from Indiana to NC. It was not till yesterday afternoon did it start raining here. All this happened not two hours after the wife and I went into our Camping World and told them how satisfied we were. I think the window leak can be fixed with a little silicone caulk. I will have to schedule a visit to have CW look at the camera. I can tap the mirror housing and the camera comes back.

    I would have expected that they would have made sure that thing was perfect before delivery? Amazing. Did you break a mirror, have a black cat walk in front of you or other bad omens lately. Stay away from me man. ;)

    That is a heck of a leak.
  • Two minor problems. Get them fixed and try not to get worked up! I know its difficult with your recent Thor history. Maybe Marcus Lemonis needs to fix Thor and not just your problem. It could be a multi-hour special. By the way, I do enjoy his show (The Profit) on TV.
  • I am so sorry to hear about this. You have been through h*ll. Well at least these problems are "relatively" minor and certainly can be fixed. I know they must irritate you beyond what a normal person was meant to endure. I commend you on your patience, but condemn Thor on once again, producing a sub standard product.
  • We would be back at the dealer, and they would fix it. No reason for this poor quality on something that cost what a motorhome does.
  • Congrats on the new ride and hope those are just small teething issues compared to the mountain of issues on your last rig.
