New vent fan install concern--- intimidated??

The Mrs and I have been eyeballing purchasing and installing either a MAXX AIR or Fantastic Fan in our forward vent opening on the 2014 Itasca 31KE. Power is available at the existing vent opening.

I'd like to install a fan myself to save a few bucks on labor, to keep me busy tinkering, and to prove to the Mrs I still have some brains left. (not sure she'll buy that regardless)

If this class A had a flat roof I'd probably jump right on it, but I am a bit intimidated by the arc/curve in the roof line. While the arc seems minimal at the existing vent opening, I wonder if its so significant that it would be difficult to get a seal with the roof flange for a new fan mount flange with even a minimal side to side curvature to the RV roof?????

(I really wanted an Turbo/ MAXX that mounted to the existing flange which would have been a breeze :) to install but I see they are no longer available)

Anyone had any experience with this exterior curvature issue with a vent fan install on this type of rig?

All over the place- if you see one please let out a holler. Running into discontinued and no longer available everywhere I check.

How about calling the fan manufacturer to see what they say. Some of them are helpful.
