- afrescopXxExplorerWe get between 7 - 7.8 with a 2013 Itasca Sunstar 35F/F53 V-10. Tow a 2013 Ford C Max that has no effect on mpg. I drive 59 with toad 62 without. Presently at 6,300 miles.
- Captain_HappyExplorerSo the newer ones aren't getting any better gas milage then the (2000) older models. So I guess I'll keep the one I've got, it's paid for too.
2000 F-53 chassic, 34 footer, pulling a Ford Ranger, gets 7 mpg on a good day - bigdog2ExplorerAbout 7. It amazes me how that much gasoline can get through that little-bitty fuel line. :@

curious, why are you considering moving from a diesel to gas? I usually here the other way. Thanks
We're looking at units with bunk beds. And to meet our price point, it'll probably be a gasser. I really hate to give up the DP.
What's your price point? - ct78barnesExplorerI have a 35 J sightseer with bunks and breaking it in we got 6 mpg now 7.5 to 8.0 towing a 4,600 pound Trailblazer. This is on flat roads .
- Wrong_LaneExplorerDon't use your gas gauge when calculating MPG. The top half of my tank holds a lot more than the bottom half (according to the gauge). If I calculated using the gauge I get about 13 MPG on the top half of the tank but only 4 MPG on the bottom half.

I thought all V-10's got 6.5 to 7 MPG no matter how you drive them atleasst thats what I get no matter if I do 60 or 70 MPH.
The 2006 and newer was suppose to get better mpg, as to Ford, my 08 did pretty good when I drove it from Cali to Vegas after buying it, it weights 17,200 lbs and it did not use much gas as I thought it would, the power was very good, I would say Ford has done a good job on the newer ones.. - Jeff_and_AnaExploreron our 2008 35 foot MH we get 7. Uphill, downhill, towing, loaded, unloaded, air running, generator running it always seems to average out right at 7 MPG.
