My confusion might stem from the fact that we're fairly new to he RV game. We've had only two Class C's: a 2008 Coachmen and a 2016 Jayco.
In neither case did I need access to the *pump* to winterize. Both RVs have intakes where I can suck the pink antifreeze into the system from outside.
I wished I could have found the pump on the 2008 Coachmen - it was noisy as heck! It could wake the neighbors! I never did find it.
Didn't you have to flip a lever to make that happen?? I guess I wouldn't have to actually SEE the pump - in my old C, the pump sat about 6" from the freshwater tank. I added a 3-way valve to the intake of the pump; and when I flipped the lever, it diverted the intake from the freshwater, to a length of tubing I could stick right in the antifreeze bottle. I know some people simply put antifreeze in the freshwater tank - but I would prefer NOT to do that (yuck!)
