I was always told to keep the seals "wet", either with water or with antifreeze..... plus I would worry about bugs or road crud getting into the lines? If I had a LOT of RVs to winterize (and they weren't going anywhere), the "open and dry" technique makes sense. Do you leave the black/gray valves open?
