In my case I fell for the hype and recommended it to my parents. I personally ended up working on theirs more in 5 years than I have all 3 of our Newmars combined, since 1999. Yet if you were to ask Mom today (Dad has since passed away) she would tell you what a wonderful MH it was - she never worked on it. :B
And it wasn't just one thing, it was always something. From poor design and engineering to terrible construction methods, something was always being worked on. We never did get the baggage doors to close without hitting each other. That's a fairly serious structural flaw.
I know a lot of people like them, I'm not one of them.
