Newmar response

I am waiting for a return call from NEWMAR 2 weeks now.
I wanted talk to a tech, about a electrical problem..
I called again, and was told we have a call in them but you must wait your turn..

    The easiest way to explain it is to say the ignition switch will not turn the accessories on.
    the normal run side works normal. except none of the accessories work.

    the accessory terminal of the switch is providing power, but the relay that controls the accessories will not connect to the control circuit board.

    all fuses are good, all relays have been tested and work normal.

    I want Newmar to tell me which of the junction box controls this relay.

    there are 5 junction boxes. I feel that there is a bad connection in the wire from the ignition switch to the relay.

  • Answering owners technical questions via phone is a financial black hole. Knowledgeable people aren’t cheap. Then there’s the liability issue for the wrong, or allegedly wrong, information.
  • I have not experienced any delay in my questions in pass with Newmar... perhaps this an indication of what is to be expect in the future with the new ownership.

    More business than can be manage only translates into lack of quality control and poor customer service.

    Typical of Newmar--- and if/when you get to talk to someone, you'll get the run around. Better off posting specifics of your problem here or on the Newmar Forum.
  • Customer service, just about everywhere, appears to have been relegated to ancient history.
