So, what do ya all think? Pros and Cons please.
Both 1 1/2 bath gassers on a Ford Chassis.
The Canyon Star is obviously a high end unit and comes at a higher price. Also at almost 40ft and four slides, one has to wonder how much the V10 can really handle....
NEWMAR
The lower end Mirada is shorter and lighter, but at a more reasonable price...
COACHMEN
I'm taking any asking prices with a grain of salt and just posting what I found, for the sake of the unit itself, so would like some advice on what one might pay for either of these, along with any other comments, that are most welcome.
I keep saying we're about done, otherwise might just spring for a Fleetwood American Revolution 40E and be done with it.
Option 3
Put some upgrades into the Coach you have - get the things fixed that need fixing - couple new TV's and Video Games for the kids an you might just find that you already have a pretty good Coach.
No need to spend the next year getting things fixed - no need to learn all the new things that just break.
Maybe get a tune up and a paint job and it might be as good as new.
Just one more Option,,
Thing is, our coach is fine and one couldn't find a better one for it's age and class anywhere, I'm most sure.
All our stuff is always in better shape when we sell it vs when we got it, regardless of how much older it might be. Mainly because this gear head, never quits on them with repairs and/or upgrades as they come to mind.
Story short, we're going to miss this old rig, that has served us well and just hope I don't miss it a little too much.
What we have coming is really nice and certainly an upgrade, but also comes with a price. Still not a problem, as long as it doesn't continue to cost over and above average for upkeep.
