No coach 110v power when connected to shore line

got a progressive dynamics PD4655V charger/converter and paralax ats301 transfer switch (not in pic because it is in the back of the panel housing)

I did not replace the circuit breakers but redid the way the wiring comes into the dist. panel because the ats was a little bigger than the original and covered some of the access hole where the original wiring was going through. so I moved that to another access punch through hole and had to remove the circ. breakers to get enough room to move wires around. that is a no brainer though; they just slide out of their hot bus like a knife switch.

I am a slow worker because I like things done neat, so it took me about 2 hours. Also, the new charger/converter comes with the upgraded 12v fuse panel, and that panel has the battery pos and ground connections in the front. The original had them on the rear and getting the thick wire to come around the panel and connect to the front was the most difficult part.

What model converter did you install? I notice the circuit breakers were removed at one point. Did you replace the circuit breakers or did you have to remove and reinstall them?

Just a quick comment. Usually, in RVs, there is no neutral-to-ground bonding within the electrical panel. The neutral bus is floating, as seems to be the case in yours. However, in the picture, there seems to be a ground wire very close to the neutral bus. If it were me, I push on it a bit to move it away from there so it doesn't touch.

Yes, you should update the converter section.
Call Randy at Best converter. He may also have the burnt relay.

Here is an update.

Took the entire thing apart.
The delay switch, which is a little part called an electric sequencer, is stuck shut and will not release. Probably welded together internally.

Here are pics of the panel, and the ATS' delay switch stuck in the down position.
FWI, the main relay switch itself is fine and moves. When manually pushing it, the shore line power comes through fine to the output leads. When released, the generator line power comes through.

So, here are some questions.
I will be adding solar in the near future.

Should I update the archaic charger/converter to one of those power dynamic modules, fix the ATS delay, and keep the dist. panel (probably looking at around $230-$250 for the above), OR

should I replace the entire unit to something more modern (distribution panel + converter/charger + ats) which I am not sure of the price, OR

upgrade the converter/charger and use a manual 3 source transfer switch, since I am going to add a 3rd 110v source (coming from the inverter fed from the battery/solar), OR

add a 3 source ATS?

It seems to me that your ATS switch is stuck on the generator side since that part works fine. Possibly the contacts welded together.

Yes ATS do go bad. JMO

I was making reference to the one you are plugging the shore power into.
Did you try resetting the breakers in the rig?
Turn them all off applying light pressure toward off, then turn on main breaker, then branch breakers one at a time.

I followed power into the transfer switch connection.
There is power at the twist nuts.
There is no coming out of the transfer switch. Tested by putting a lead on the hot bus of the breakers panel (removed the main breaker) and the other lead onto the frame (neutral/ground).

Did the same with the generator running, and there is power at the hot bus.

When I'd connect shore power, I remember hearing a click (relay of the ATS?) as soon as I connected to the shore power source. I no longer hear that click, so something is no longer being energized. Do the relays of the ATS go bad?

there is no power at the hot bus of the panel's circuit breakers, so no receptacle is going to have power.
