No power from shore

HELP.... we have a classe a Monaco. It has a progressive surge protector. So when gen is running I get power to coach and surge protector shows no code everything fine. When I plug into shore power nothing. No display no power. Have checked with a multi meter and have power from post to plug. I'm thinking the Transfer switch. I have it open but never seen what a good one looks like. What should I do? If I could find a good photo . It looks like mine may have had a arc but not sure

    If you have a volt meter and know how to use it, you should easily be able to trace power. Just be careful, but following power to the point there is no power is pretty simple.

    A very useful tool for fearful people that don't like electricity at all is a volt stick.

    It does not have metal parts that touch anything, and it detects the presence of electricity.

    Worth having in your tool kit!

    Call Progressive Industries. I had a similar issue with mine. Do you have a bypass switch? They are very helpful and sent me out a replacement part immediately.

    IF the progressive unit is on coach side of transfer switch (gen & shore both go thru it) then issue is with transfer switch being stuck/burnt on gen side

    If the progressive unit is only on shore power then you need to remove/bypass it and check if power goes thru transfer switch to coach.
    If it does then issue is with the progressive unit...Lifetime Warranty!

    Sounds like the transfer switch is not working on the shore power side. We are currently having the same problem. While plugged in hit the top of the transfer switch box with a rubber mallet. It may take sever hard hits but it will eventually switch over. When it switches over you will start to hear a hum. The shore power switch needs to be either cleaned or replaced. Replace is the best fix. Good luck

    Just saw a post on the issue from Facebook..they had an inline surge protector before the switch and it fried (the one time thing did its job and then self destructs)...they then bypassed the switch for now and ordered a new surge guard...and all is well until new protector comes in...you could open transfer switch and check connections.
