So what is the fix for a partially/fully blocked cooling unit? When this frig was in my motor home it worked just fine, freezer and lower unit. We took it out and replaced it with a residential frig. Sold the old unit and they installed it and now this. The red light is ON. Will bypassing the recall box work? It's been bypassed before but I don't remember which 2of the 3 wired do you connect?

The ONLY fix for a blocked CU is replacement. Burping will NOT fix a blocked cooling unit. If the red light comes ON, then it is possible the CU is blocked or is a leaker. The refer needs checked by a professional, AND NOT BYPASSED. The recall is a safety item. Doug
