No Start
I got this 2000 REXHALL AERBUS 37' DIESEL MOTORHOME about 5 mth ago and came home set-up checked it out level,water ,power and so on.Was going to start got good battery power but will not turn over. I must be missing something ?

- It acts like some kind of safety or something not letting it start. There is a beeping going on with the key turn on
- If you have good battery and power to the starter, I'd check the major grounding strap--- even take it off and clean the connections on both ends. Ran through a problem like that and could not find what was wrong. In the end someone grabbed the grounding strap and found it red hot-- the only problem was the connection to the frame was corroded and the corrosion was not visible. On my class A unfortunately it was located near the well well thus catching lots of road spray amplifying the corrosion issue which caused the ground connection to fail.
- My mechanic buddy went to a home where the owner had the same problem. They even had a dealer mech. come out and he said the computer was bad.
Turns out there was a switch back in a storage compartment that got flipped by something the owner tossed in there. The switch allowed a nearby button to turn the eng over instead of the key up front.
The guy was a class act - he gave my friend a $200 tip.
