Probably need a little more info, but mine did something similar years ago. Electronics. Does this happen when the exhaust brake is on? Happened to me . Turned the exhaust brake off , pushed sharply on the brake and the problem went away. Something do to with the exhaust brake and brake light electronics not releasing properly when you step on the accelerator.
If that works, let me know cause the fix for that is easy and cheap.
We had a similar exhaust brake problem -- had just had a new one installed and experienced a total loss of acceleration whenever it was switched on, after the brake was activated. The temporary fix was switching the brake off! The long term one was replacing the old solenoid on the brake which turned out to be defective. - GalvanizdExplorer???
- HappytracksExplorerI have the :King throttle/cruise. I had the same problem a month ago.I havea Duromax/cc chassis. The control box is facing down from the frame, between the 325 cummings and the tranny, on the passenger side. I took a hammer and GENTLY struck the bottom of the control box. I heard the switch open/close with an audible click. BINGO! they don,t go bad that often, just freese up.
- GalvanizdExplorerwhat was the end result?

X-2!!!. That is if you have the King Throttle/Cruise control unit, or the newer replacement King Control cruise/throttle control unit. Your circuit board might have died. And Steve is excellent with customer service if you have one of those units.
